About Nearness

Nearness is a private feeling made public: a quiet place for thoughts that would otherwise disappear into notes, chat windows, and sleepless nights.

It holds journal entries, poems, code, memories, reading notes, and fragments in English and Urdu. There is no algorithm here, no infinite feed, and no demand to perform. Only an archive, growing one Markdown file at a time.

Some things are worth keeping close, even when they are difficult to hold.

The site is intentionally small. It is built with Astro, published as static files, and kept alive through writing.
